Boulder

Several weeks ago, the kids were out of school on a Friday. Our good friends the Elmers invited us to go to Boulder with them. It was such a fun day. Boulder is honestly one of the most beautiful towns/cities I have ever visited. It was picturesque with the Flatirons in the distance.

We took the kids on a hike in the mountains. They were able to climb on the rocks and to explore the park. It was beautiful! We then had an all-organic, litter-free picnic. (Just kidding, Boulder is the home of the organic and arguably the green movements).

After our picnic, we went to a cool little area of town and let the kids have ice-cream. (SUGAR and all). The town has a really cool "vibe" about it. There was a lot of great "people watching." It is a very diverse population.

We then went to a park and let the kids play in a stream. It was such a gorgeous place. The water was perfectly clear. One of the kids "accidentally" fell in the water. Then to my amazement, all of the kids had accidents where they fell in the water. They were SOAKED!!

We completed the day with a stop at Old Navy to buy dry clothes for the trip home. It honestly was one of my favorite days here in Colorado. It was a perfect day!
